Adult Christian Education

Our Education Mission

The mission of the Christian Education Program through its classes, programs, and activities is to help people of all ages know, love, and serve God on an increasingly consistent and obedient basis. This is true for our Adult, Youth, and Children programs. For adults, we offer a range of Sunday School classes, Bible studies, and seminars that are biblically based and distinctly reformed. The educational offerings are designed to teach spiritually sound, culturally relevant, and practical Christian principles important for both individuals and individuals within families as they become more and more conformed to the image of Christ.

New Member Classes

There are special classes offered for those who are interested in becoming members of the church. The Inquirers Class is offered on a regular basis. The class offers an overview of the doctrines of the church and its ministries, and it is taught by Pastor Tony Casoria, our Senior Minister . This 6-week class if often followed by a class on What it Means to be Reformed which is also taught by Pastor Tony. For information on our next Inquirers Class, contact the church office.

Sunday SchoolAdult Sunday School class

Each Sunday we offer different Adult Sunday School electives. These include classes on the Old Testament and New Testament that explore in an in-depth way different books of the Bible. Additionally, each week Sunday School electives are offered in the areas of Christian Living and Doctrine. Our Christian Living and Doctrine electives are often based on books or video series of both classic and contemporary Reformed Christian writers, pastors, and theologians. The classes are taught by our pastors, ruling elders, or members carefully selected for teaching adult classes. In recent years our Christian Living classes have covered topics such as Engaging the Soul of Youth Culture (Mueller), Ministries of Mercy (Keller), Heirs of the Covenant (Hunt), Secret Prayer Closet (Burr) and Defending Your Faith (Sproul). Recent examples of our Doctrine classes include Knowing God (Packer), The Holy Spirit (Ferguson), Evangelism & the Sovereignty of God (Packer), and Adopted by God (Peterson).
